Earlier this week, while I was watching the entire first season of Party Down on Netflix with Malgor, I cast on a new project.
"Whatcha making?" Malgor asked me."You can't know. It's a secret. I'm going to try to publish this pattern, so you can't see it."
"Fine. What's this other project? What are you knitting on these needles?" he asked, rummaging through my knitting bag.
"That's a secret, too."
"You have an awful lot of secret knitting in this bag. What are these? Socks?"
"Yeah. Those are socks for my dad. They're not a secret. I'm about halfway through the heel flaps."
"Whatever. I'm bored. You want to go fight some demons or something?"
"Not right now. I'm in the middle of a cable row."
"Ugh. I want something to do," the Undead King whined.
"Take out your own knitting."
"I don't knit," he answered defensively.
"We both know you do."
Malgor flopped back onto the couch with a "Hmpf!" and a half-finished Fair Isle mitten materialized in his hands.
"Don't tell anyone!"
"Not a soul," I replied.
